In almost all structures (bridges, dams, dams, pumping stations) that are water-related, gauge scales are used to make the water level readable.
Level gauges often also have a cosmetic effect, so clearly visible mounting is desirable.
Reading the level scale must be possible from a reasonable distance.
Leveling scales can be mounted on various surfaces and either directly on the surface or with a support. A support (also called level scale holder) ensures that the level scale (enamel or laminate) is protected and can be adjusted.
As a water board you have a role model (public), this has advantages but also disadvantages.
One of the disadvantages is that as a water board you are much more bound by rules for the installation of level scales than we at Hocomac are.
According to the Arbo, your employees are not allowed to do what we are allowed and able to do.
Working without danger is certainly our approach. We can also often install in places where water boards have to install pontoons with scaffolding and numerous safety measures, while our level gauge installation does this with a boat and climbing harness/fall protection. This method of installation is faster and cheaper.
